On the Shore

The sea-water is green with life,
which is a story best told
when the birds on the shore
wait for the tide to bring them fish.

Each instant holds the plot from which a drama waltzes.

A soothing mist from the rolling waves
brings character, setting, voice and tone.
Deepest calm follows menacing gale,
which is what always matters the most.
