how does the pattern of jeans
inspire that sillohouette
look at the man, the illusion of
bulky thighs stretching cotton shiny
and blue even when that dye
is poison, those thighs are skinny
and limp, his mouth tastes of charcoal
the millimeter of ash behind
the cherry tip of his cigarette
